Construction Appreciation Week is celebrated September 16-20 to acknowledge and thank the more than 11 million hardworking men and women in the industry who contribute to the development of infrastructure, facilities and products including new homes.

According to the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), a leading association for the construction industry, the construction industry has more than 680,000 employers with seven million employees and creates $1.3 trillion worth of structures each year.

Professionals including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, project managers and fabricators work hard to ensure that businesses are successful, infrastructure is safe and families have their dream home.
